Before you buy

An honest read

What it has going for it

  • 1.2 lakh ratings at 4.4, from a brand that has made watches for over 150 years.
  • A steel bracelet watch from a known brand for well under ₹1,000 is rare.
  • Roman numerals and a silver dial look formal without trying.
  • The self adjust clasp means you can size it at home.

What to keep in mind

  • The case is brass with a steel bracelet, so it is not solid steel throughout.
  • At 33 mm it is on the smaller side for men.
  • Some numbers on the listing look wrong (it lists the thickness as 33.1 mm), so trust the photos for size.
  • Splash proof, not swim proof.
