What it has going for it

  • This is an official Mustang licence, not a lookalike — pony logo, racing stripe and a knurled case edge lifted from the car's front grille. At ₹1,299 that is the whole pitch.
  • 60 hours of total playtime with the case, and a 10-minute charge is claimed to be enough for another session.
  • Dual-device pairing, EQ presets in the Amp app and a 45 ms gaming mode are features that usually start a tier higher.
  • 13 mm drivers is a big cone for an earbud, and buyers rate battery backup (4.0) and design (4.1) highest.
  • Made in India by Optiemus Electronics, with a full year of warranty and a Mustang collectible in the box.

What to keep in mind

  • ENC is not ANC. Flipkart's own spec sheet lists active noise cancellation as "No" — the four mics clean up your voice for the person on the call, they do not quieten the world for you.
  • Call quality is the lowest-scoring parameter buyers give it, at 3.7, which is the one thing the quad-mic marketing is selling.
  • About 1 rating in 9 is a single star — 22,553 of them. Worth reading a page of those before you order.
  • That 2 lakh rating count looks pooled: many of the top reviews on the listing are dated two years ago, while the Mustang collab only launched in 2025. Treat the score as being about Boult's earbuds generally, not this model.
  • The 60 hr figure is the case-plus-buds total. Flipkart does not publish the per-charge figure for the buds themselves.
  • Codec support is SBC and AAC only — no aptX or LDAC — and Bluetooth range is the standard 10 m.
  • IPX5 means sweat and rain. Do not swim in them and do not run them under a tap.
  • The ₹4,999 MRP exists mainly to make "74% off" possible. Judge it on the ₹1,299 you actually pay.
  • Flipkart's own product images carry a note that the logo and packaging may be either the old or new branding — the product inside is the same.
