Photo Report: Site Inspection

Privacy Policy

Effective 31 August 2026 · com.arzdrz.photos_to_report

The photos you add, your notes and your reports never leave your phone. The app does its work on your own device.

Who this covers

This policy covers the mobile app Photo Report: Site Inspection, published by Akshay CP on Google Play. The app turns the photos you add into a PDF report, with your note under each photo and the date and place stamped on it.

Your content

The photos you add, your notes and your reports stay on your device. The app does the work locally, using your phone's own processor and storage. Nothing you create or open is uploaded to me or to anyone else, and I have no way to see it.

Anything the app saves is written where you ask it to be written, and any list of recent items exists only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes it.

The app reads the date and the location saved inside the photos you add, so it can stamp them on your report. With your permission it asks Android for each photo's real location, which Android otherwise hides from apps. Photos you take from the app are taken by your phone's own camera app and handed back to it; the app has no camera permission of its own. Each photo is copied, made smaller, into the app's storage on your phone together with your notes, so your reports stay there until you delete them. A company logo, if you add one, is kept the same way. The PDFs you make are saved in your Downloads folder.

Location

Your phone's location is used only when you tap the location icon on a report, or My location on a photo, and Android asks your permission at that moment. Once you allow it, photos you take from the app are also stamped with where the phone was. The app never tracks your location in the background, and a location is only ever kept as the place on your own report.

To turn a position into a place name, the app passes the coordinates to Android's built-in geocoder, which is provided by Google. Nothing else about the photo is sent. If you paste a short Google Maps link, the app asks Google where that link points, the same as opening it in a browser.

When you tap share, the app hands the file it has made to Android's own share sheet and you choose which app receives it. It goes straight from your device to whichever app you pick, and is subject to that app's privacy policy from then on. Nothing is shared unless you tap share and choose a destination.

Advertising

The free version of the app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve them, AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier — the Advertising ID — along with general information about your device such as its model, operating system version, language, rough location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with ads.

That information is handled by Google under its own privacy policy, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy.

AdMob does not always supply the ad itself. It also passes the request on to partner ad networks and shows whichever one bids highest — in this app, Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network. When a partner network fills the slot it receives the same kind of information described above, including your advertising identifier, and handles it under its own privacy policy: Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network.

Tracking, and how to turn it off

On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings under Google › Ads.

Making the purchase described below stops ads being shown and stops the advertising identifier being used for advertising in this app.

Purchases

The app offers a one-time purchase that unlocks its paid features and removes ads. Payments are processed by the store you installed the app from — Google Play Billing. I never see or store your card details. The app only records, on your own device, whether the purchase was made.

What I collect

I do not run a server for this app. There are no accounts, no logins, and no analytics of my own. I do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or documents. The only data leaving your device is what Google AdMob and its partner ad networks collect to show ads, as described above.

Children

This app is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please get in touch and I will look into it.
