Measurement Book
Effective 31 August 2026 · com.arzdrz.measurement.book
The photos you take and the measurements you write on them never leave your phone. The app does its work on your own device.
This policy covers the mobile app Measurement Book, published by Akshay CP on Google Play. The app photographs whatever you are measuring, lets you draw the dimensions straight onto the picture and keeps every measurement together in one book.
The photos you take and the measurements you write on them stay on your device. The app does the work locally, using your phone's own processor and storage. Nothing you create or open is uploaded to me or to anyone else, and I have no way to see it.
Anything the app saves is written where you ask it to be written, and any list of recent items exists only on your device. Uninstalling the app removes it.
When you tap share, the app hands the file it has made to Android's own share sheet and you choose which app receives it. It goes straight from your device to whichever app you pick, and is subject to that app's privacy policy from then on. Nothing is shared unless you tap share and choose a destination.
The app uses your camera so you can photograph the thing you are measuring. The photo is copied into the app’s own storage on your device, where you draw the dimensions onto it and label them. It is never uploaded, and the app does not read or recognise anything in the picture.
The free version of the app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve them, AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier — the Advertising ID — along with general information about your device such as its model, operating system version, language, rough location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with ads.
That information is handled by Google under its own privacy policy, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy.
On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings under Google › Ads.
I do not run a server for this app. There are no accounts, no logins, and no analytics of my own. I do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or documents. The only data leaving your device is what Google AdMob collects to show ads, as described above.
This app is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please get in touch and I will look into it.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
Questions about this policy, or about anything the app does, are welcome at contact.akshaycp@gmail.com.
