This policy covers the mobile app Cuboid AR — See before you buy, published by Akshay CP on Google Play. The app places a real-size 3D box in your room using augmented reality so you can check whether something will fit.
The measurements you enter stay on your device. The app does the work locally, using your phone's own processor and storage. Nothing you create or open is uploaded to me or to anyone else, and I have no way to see it.
The app uses your camera to show the augmented reality view, so you can see the result placed in your real surroundings. The live camera feed is only used to draw what's on screen — it is never recorded or sent anywhere.
This app has no capture or save feature for the camera view — there is no way to record, save or share what the camera sees.
The free version of the app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve them, AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier — the Advertising ID — along with general information about your device such as its model, operating system version, language, rough location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with ads.
That information is handled by Google under its own privacy policy, which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy.
On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings under Google › Ads.
I do not run a server for this app. There are no accounts, no logins, and no analytics of my own. I do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or documents. The only data leaving your device is what Google AdMob collects to show ads, as described above.
This app is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please get in touch and I will look into it.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
